Iron Man Arc Reactor that Really Glows – DIY Cheap and Easy

This Iron Man arc reactor looks amazingly realistic, but is actually very easy to make and can be put together with just a few simple materials for around $5.

Iron Man Arc Reactor - DIY Cheap and Easy

The nice thing about this Iron Man arc reactor is that there’s no metal cutting, soldering, or electrical wiring required. The whole casing is really just cardboard and paper, but when finished, it looks very authentic. You can either draw the pieces freehand or use the free pdf template HERE.

This is for the mark VI Iron Man arc reactor, but it can also be used for an Avengers era costume, as the triangular Iron Man arc reactor did make an appearance in that movie as well.

(*Edit: Walmart has since stopped carrying the lights I used in this project, however, they can still be purchased here from Amazon).

    • Hi Adityan, do you have glow sticks available in India? If so, you can coil a few of the flexible ones up inside the of arc reactor and it will give it the same glow as the finger lights.
