Easy 4th of July Serving Tray

4th of July craftsNeed a 4th of July serving tray? You can easily make one from an old cookie sheet and some red, white, and blue paper.

I have a pretty small tray here, but if you’re using a full size cookie tray, you might want to use red, white, and blue ribbons, as they’ll be longer and fit a bigger tray better. You’ll weave them exactly the same way as you would paper, just alternating the colors, and the over-under pattern.

If you happen to have a piece of glass or Plexiglas lying around that will fit the tray, it makes a great cover for your weaving, and will protect it from any liquid beverages that might drip on it.
