Easy DIY Yarn Santa Claus – Vintage Handmade Style

These little DIY yarn Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus figures were inspired by some vintage ones that I found in an old box of Christmas stuff from an elder relative who had passed on.

DIY Yarn Santa Claus

MATERIALS NEEDED:
Red yarn
Scrap pieces of red, white, and black fabric (other colors optional for aprons, trim, etc.)
1 cotton ball or small bit of quilt batting
Red and black marker
Glue

These little guys are a great crafts for kids project, as they’re very simple. There’s just a little basic cutting and gluing involved in the construction.

Kids can personalize their creations by changing the facial features and adding different fabric trims for aprons and hats.
