Farm Market Season Starts Next Week

Farm MarketsIt’s that time of year once again, time for the farm markets to reopen for the season.

For those of you who are local, stop by the Victor or Canandaigua farmers markets, both of which open next week. (Victor opens Wednesday, June 4th. Canandaigua opens Saturday June 7th). The Snowbelt Morris dancers will be at the Canandaigua Farmers Market on opening day. Visit the market and watch their creative show.

I won’t have many flowers the first week as everything is very late and growing slowly this year, but I’ve got fresh batches of handmade soywax (only at Victor) and beeswax candles, as well as glycerin and milk soap and my recycled paper greeting cards. And by popular demand and I’ll have the seasonal favorite catnip at my table to put a little spunk back into your kitty’s day.

The Cheshire Farm Market will also be opening the last week of June and I’ll be bringing my usual veggies to that market. Stop by and have a look.
