How to Make a Lavender Wreath

If you have a patch of lavender, it’s easy to turn the stems into a lovely lavender wreath.

How to Make a Lavender Wreath

You’ll need about 100 stems of lavender for a 6 inch lavender wreath (you can get by with less if your lavender heads are on the bigger side) If your heads start to get too small, wind 5 or 6 stems of lavender at a time instead of 4.

Not only is the purple color of lavender pretty, but the smell lasts long after the lavender has dried on the wreath.

Wil using already dried lavender work or will it be too messy?

    Thank you! πŸ™‚

    • Yes, you can use dried lavender too, but you will probably want to soak the stems in warm water for a few minutes first to make sure they aren’t too brittle to bend around the wreath. (But just the stems, keep the heads out of the water if possible).
