How to Make a Perfect Size Cover for Any Kindle, Ipad, or Tablet

Need a cover to protect your Kindle, Ipad, or tablet? Why settle for a store bought version when you can make one yourself to fit your own style.

Kindle Cover

I still had some green foam, gold ribbon and mat board left over from my Loki costume, as well as a few scraps of fake leather, so I put them to use as a Kindle cover. The nice thing about a handmade tablet cover is the flexibility in size. You don’t have to worry about purchasing the right one for your particular device as you can custom cut it to fit any size you want.

I love Halloween, so I did my Kindle cover up to look like a witch’s spellbook from Harry Potter or similar, but you can swap any fabric to fit your own personality tastes. The mat board I’m using is the same type used to mount photos, and the half-inch foam gives the cover plenty of cushion to protect against hits.
