How to Make a Rag Strip Garland

Making a rag strip garland is a fun way to use up small pieces of fabric that are too little to use in other projects.

There’s no sewing involved to make these garlands, just a little bit of knot tying, which gives it a nice, intricate look. They’re quite simple to make and you can customize your rag strip garland for any season depending on what kind of fabric scraps you use.

Flannels make lovely Christmas garlands, while bright colored prints work great for a summertime rag strip garland.
