How to Make Kale Chips

Kale chipsEver seen those fluffy green heads of kale at your local farmers market, but didn’t know what to do with them? Try making some kale chips.

Kale chips are a tasty way use those emerald leaves. They’re a great, healthy snack and so easy to make. The only ingredients you need are your kale, a cooking oil like canola, (though some people prefer to use olive oil), and a little bit of salt, or season salt.

Tear up the leaves into chip-sized pieces and cover them in a little bit of the cooking oil. Give them a little sprinkling of the salt and put them in the oven on 350 degrees. It usually takes them about 15-20 minutes to cook thoroughly. You’ll know they’re done when they start to look darker green and slightly whithered.

Let them cool a bit, then enjoy!
