Crafting has always been a big part of my life. Creativity was something that was very much encouraged in my family, so my siblings and I spent a lot of our spare time doing craft projects. From the time we were very little, my sister and I were always making holiday decorations from whatever materials we had available.
Gourds and wreath making items were easily found in plenty on our farm and the surrounding woodlands, so they provided us with some of our first crafting experiences. As time progressed, I discovered the joys of candles and soapmaking, as well as honing a love for photography, a passion that has progressed to greeting cards. I also enjoy sharing my love of crafting with fellow do-it-yourselfers by posting crafting how-to videos.
I’ve been lucky enough to find outlets for my crafts at the local farmers’ markets, as well as putting a few items in some area craft shops. My best selection is at the farm markets, so if you’re local, stop by to see (and smell) them in person. I also have items in the “The Cheshire Union” gift shop in Cheshire, NY and I’m always happy to take custom requests.
