Elven Leaf Brooch – DIY Cheap and Easy

A little clay and some paint give you a fairly convincing Lord of the Rings elven leaf brooch for a fraction of the cost of a replica.

You can use pretty much any type of string for the tendrils, but I found hemp twine worked best because it held its shape on its own. If you’re using a less stiff type of string, dip it into a bit of glue first and let it dry so it becomes stiff enough to work with.
