Learning how to sew a button is a skill that always comes in handy, both for crafting and cosplaying. In this tutorial I’ll show you how to sew on a few different types of buttons by hand.

I had a request from a follower for a tutorial showing how to sew a button. Since I do sew a lot of buttons in my costume and craft tutorials, it seemed like a good idea to have a base tutorial that I can refer back to, without having to detail the button sewing each time. So this will be that tutorial.

And in a few weeks, I’ll have one for how to sew a button hole by hand, so check back for that.
