DIY Vampire Blood Vial - Turning Old Containers Into Potion Bottles For Halloween

In this tutorial, I’ll show you how I turned an old empty essential oil bottle into a spooky looking DIY Vampire Blood vial. It’s easy to do and it’s a whole lot of fun!

MATERIALS USED:
Empty glass bottle
Black metallic paint
Paint brush
Cork
Brown packing paper scraps
Brown paint
Sponge
Black thin-tip marker
Matches
Red candle
Multi-surface glue
Scissors

If you’ve got a few empty bottles lying around, don’t throw them out just yet! Save them and turn them into these fun potion bottles to display for Halloween (or all year if you’re so inclined πŸ˜‰)

I used a glass bottle because that’s what I had on hand, since I make soap and treat a lot of headaches and cuts with essential oils. But you can use whatever bottles you happen to have on hand.

Any small “potion size” bottle will do. And it doesn’t have to be glass. A plastic bottle will look just fine once you get the paint on it. So use up whatever extra bottles you have on hand.
