Coming this summer I will be releasing my first ever cosplay book! (Cover and title to be revealed at a later date). I have been “secretly” working on it behind the scenes for the last several years and am currently putting the final touches on it now.
The book will focus on low-budget costume making, sharing all the tips and tricks I use to keep my costumes low cost. I have also filmed 8 full costume tutorials to accompany the book, which will demonstrate the money-saving techniques I explain in the book.
Cosplaying is a hobby that should be available to everyone, no matter their budget. And just because someone is light in finances, doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be able to join in on the fun.
In my weekly YouTube videos over the next several weeks, I will be posting teasers of the book at the end of each of my weekly videos, as I get the book itself ready for release this summer.
So stay tuned and watch for the updates!

The face you make when you realize you’re sparkling!
This was me getting ready to shoot some costume photos of a character for my upcoming cosplay book. Do you recognize the character? (Don’t worry, she won’t have that look on her face in the actual pictures 😉)
My upcoming budget-cosplay book will be coming out later this summer. Stay tuned for more details about the release as I get it ready.

That moment when you search your parents basement to find the perfect prop for your costume and come out dirty, but victorious! This will be a prop for a costume in my upcoming cosplay book.

Don’t be silly, of course this did not take 300 hours to make…it took 299 😂
But that’s ok, this fabric was so amazing, it was fun to be able to use it, even if it did take 5 months to complete.
I actually spent so long making this Witcher costume that even after I was finished, I kept accidentally referring to the next costume I worked on as The Witcher as well, lol.
Geralt will be in my upcoming cosplay book. More details to come!

I found liked maple leaves better than ivy leaves for my Poison Ivy skirt, because they looked more like real poison ivy plant leaves 😅 They’re also also cheaper, so that’s always a win. Poison Ivy will be in my upcoming cosplay book!

For the pics in my upcoming cosplay book, I’ve spent a bit more time on the photos edits than I usually do. But hopefully the results will reflect the effort. I will say, I’ve probably had more fun editing these book pictures than any others before because it’s so enjoyable to get really into the special effects and such with them.
This one is the one original character that will be in my book. It’s a Celtic warrior costume that I first wore to the Renaissance festival several years ago. It’s obviously not historically accurate, haha, because I wanted to do it in a fictional, more comic book style way.
My book will be available August 21
