The elven cloak is a very simple design, so it’s easy to cut freehand.

In this tutorial I’ll show you how to make a cloak based on the ones from Lord of the Rings. I used some gray flannel, because it looked similar to the wool they had in the movie. If you find your material frays, hem all the raw edges before you add the final closing clasps at the neck.
