The tunic part of the Gimli costume is basically just fabric-covered pellon.

The pellon is what allows the top vest-like part to hold its shape. The panels that cover the legs are just fabric to allow them to swing freely. There’s no sewing involved in this, everything is hot glued together. However, if you’d rather sew it together, just replace all the lines I glued together with thread.
