This is the rest of the Gimli costume tutorial.

Here I show how to make the bracers, chain mail and belt. The pants were just a pair of baggy brown sweatpants, the gloves were ordinary leather work gloves (get a pair that’s been used a while, since Gimli wouldn’t have a fresh-looking set), and the boots were just a beat up pair of ordinary work boots that ended up looking quite dwarfish when they were put with the rest of the costume.

Gimli also wears one of the elvish cloaks given to the fellowship when they left Rivendell. If you missed the tutorial for the cloak, click here for the how-to.
