Han Solo Costume Part 1: How to make a Han Solo Blaster DL 44 Look More Movie Authentic

Star Wars is mainstream enough that it’s easy to find a plastic Han Solo blaster fairly inexpensively, so here’s how to make a Han Solo blaster look a little more movie authentic.

How to make a Han Solo Blaster DL 44 Look More Movie Authentic

I found my plastic Han Solo blaster for about $13 locally and figured I probably couldn’t make one for less than that anyway (plus it makes noise, and whose inner 10 year old doesn’t love a blaster that makes noise right?)

The one hitch with the plastic Han Solo blaster is that it’s sold in colors of orange and white, not exactly the classic movie colors. But with a little drilling and some simple painting, you can make one of those plastic blasters look a lot more movie authentic.

However, if you’re taking it out in public, leave the tip orange so nobody mistakes it as a real gun (not everyone’s a Star Wars fan)

And always remember, Han shot first!
