Iron Man Costume – How Ours Was Made (explanation, not actual tutorial)

I’ve had quite a few people have asked about the family Iron Man costume, since it’s seen in the background of a lot of my tutorials, so this is a little video basically explaining how our Iron Man costume was made.

How Our Iron Man Costume Was Made (explanation, not actual tutorial)

This is just an explanation, not an actual tutorial, since we don’t really want to have to make this thing again (it took months the first time). To make one yourself, you’ll also want to download the pepakura viewer and designer (you’ll need both) here. (I don’t think they have it available for Mac users yet). And the patterns used for this Iron Man costume can be downloaded here. (I did not make the patterns used for this; they were created by someone else, but available publicly at that link)
