Ben 10 Ultimatrix DIY Cheap and Easy
In this tutorial I’ll show you how to make a cheap and easy Ben 10 Ultimatrix DIY.
MATERIALS USED:
1 sheet of 3 mm craft foam
Scissors
Hot glue gun
1 juice or milk cap
Black paint (I used a Metallic black)
Lime green paint (I used Hauser Light green, but I don’t think they make it anymore)
Green paint (I used Christmas green)
Metallic Gunmetal Gray paint
Paint brush
Neon green puffy paint
Metallic silver puffy paint
Sticky backed velcro
I used craft foam for this, but if you don’t have craft foam where you live, you can just use cardboard instead. Just be sure to use cardboard that’s flexible, like the kind they make cereal boxes out of. And you may need to glue a couple pieces of cardboard together to get them thick enough.
I had a TON of requests for a Ben 10 Ultimatrix DIY tutorial. I’ve still never seen the show (so as usual, apologies if I’ve messed anything up on this), but apparently almost everyone else in the world has because this is the most requested tutorial I’ve had to date.
It’s pretty simple to make, and if you’re someone who crafts or cosplays regularly, you might already have everything on hand you need to make it. The neon green puffy paint that I use to draw the hourglass is almost glowing on its own, but if you want even more light, you can stick a green finger light on the inside like I did in the original omnitrix tutorial. And when you’re done, don’t forget to make yourself a holographic alien for your ultimatrix (learn how here).
So what’s your favorite version of the omnitrix? Let me know in the comments below.
