Cheap and Easy DIY Tesseract

This cheap and easy DIY tesseract is very simple to make, and the famous blue glow is achieved with tiny LED lights.

Cheap and Easy DIY Tesseract from The Avengers

MATERIALS USED:
Cardboard
White tissue paper
Hot glue gun
Magnets (I used some old magnetic business cards)
Utility or x-acto knife
Scissors
3 blue finger lights

This tesseract is comprised mostly of cardboard and tissue paper. You can probably make it from scraps you already have lying the house. All it takes is a little hot glue and few magnets to bring everything together.

The magnets allow you change the lights, or turn them on and off at will, without having to tear apart the cube. These are the same lights that I used to achieve the deep blue glow in my Iron Man arc reactor tutorial.

This DIY tesseract is my forth “infinity stone” prop (the others being Loki’s staff, the Infinity Orb, and the Eye of Agamotto) and I think this one might be my favorite. It’s just so irresistible to play with πŸ˜‰ I’ll also have the Aether coming up at some point this year, as I’ve had several requests for it. And then it’ll be down to the soul stone, which of course I’ll have to make just so I can complete my Infinity Stone collection (and then, ya know, I can rule the world πŸ˜‰ ).

Which is your favorite infinity stone?
