Darth Vader Costume Tutorial Part 4: The Cape

This is the forth part of my Darth Vader costume tutorial, showing how to make the Darth Vader cape.

Darth Vader Costume Tutorial Part 4: The Cape

I hot glued black pleather onto the outline of my cape, but you could also use glossy black duct tape to line the edges instead. The only drawback would be that the duct tape wouldn’t be quite as smooth as pleather, due to those lines that are always in duct tape.

The thicker pieces of pleather I used were about 2 inches wide, and the thinner strips were about 1 inch wide. (I guess the end of this video is just Darth in a cape on a casual day.)
