Anakin Skywalker Costume Part 2 & 3: DIY Glove and Scar

Here are the other two tutorials for the rest of the Anakin Skywalker costume: the glove he wears over his prosthetic limb, and the scar he had over his eye in Revenge of the Sith.

DIY Anakin Skywalker Costume: Tunic and Belt

The fake leather I used for the glove I found in JoAnn fabrics, as well as the buckles. I couldn’t find any of the rectangular type that Anakin had in the movie, so if you have the same trouble, pretty much any type of silver buckle connector will work.

The scar in the movie has a sort of fresh wound look to it, definitely on the still colored side, so that’s what I tried to accomplish here, while still keeping it simple with the bare minimum of materials. This particular method doesn’t use any rigid collodion, as I’ve heard it can be rather harsh on the skin. The two lip crayons I used to accomplish this scar were from Burt’s Bees. If you can’t find them locally, they’re available here on Amazon. The base pinkish-orange color was called Niagara Overlook, and the reddish color that I dotted in afterward was called Napa Vineyard.
