DIY Flare Jeans

You can buy flare jeans in the store, but when you make them yourself, you can add more of your personal style to your flares.

DIY Flare Jeans

This was something I’d been wanting to do for a few years and I finally got to it. I’m a country girl, so I wanted to use some of that red bandana style material to make a pair of flared jeans for a country look.

The nice thing about DIY flare jeans is their versatility. You can use anything from the red bandana material as I used here for a western look, to floral prints, to tie-dye fabric for a hippie look. You can even just use a contrasting color of denim without the fabric overlay.

The jeans I’m using here I picked up for $4 at the local salvation army (why buy new when you can recycle) and the red material cost me about $1. So basically you can make these jeans for around $5.
