Winter Soldier Costume Part 6 – Genderbent Winter Soldier Costume DIY

So part of the Winter Soldier costume tutorial request was a request for a genderbent Winter Soldier costume version as well, so here’s is my take on that in a bonus tutorial this week.

DIY Genderbent Winter Soldier Costume

This is mainly just to give some simple genderbending ideas, and I’ll be honest, I’m a fairly lousy genderbender because I pretty much never do it. (I often look like a boy anyway, so I usually just cosplay male characters as male). This is mostly just some small tweaks to the male Winter Solider costume I made, because personally my favorite genderbends are the ones that still keep a lot of semblance to the original character, so that’s what I tried to do here.

This particular version of my genderbent Winter Soldier costume was somewhat inspired Black Siren’s costume on Arrow (yes, I’m mixing Marvel and DC, ahh!!!), and it’s basically just for ideas. Use your imagination to improve upon it however you want for your own costume. The fake leather I used for the “skirt” I found in JoAnn’s.
