Easy 4th of July Serving Tray

Need a 4th of July serving tray? You can easily make one from an old cookie sheet and some red, white, and blue paper.

4th of July crafts

I have a pretty small tray here, but if you’re using a full size cookie tray, you might want to use red, white, and blue ribbons, as they’ll be longer and fit a bigger tray better. You’ll weave them exactly the same way as you would paper, just alternating the colors, and the over-under pattern. You can also use the for other holidays by simply altering the color of the paper strips. (i.e. Red and green for Christmas. Pastels for Easter).

If you happen to have a piece of glass or Plexiglas lying around that will fit the tray, it makes a great cover for your weaving, and will protect it from any liquid beverages that might drip on it.
