Easy Valentine Heart Garland

A little cardboard, yarn, and some tacky glue are all you need to make a cute Valentine heart garland.

Valentine Heart Garland

Materials Used:
Cardboard
Scissors
Glue
2 (or more) shades of yarn

This is a good Valentine craft project to do with kids as it’s very easy and safe when kid-friendly scissors are used. I used two shades of blue yarn on my hearts just for a change from the usual Valentine colors, but if you want to be more traditional you can use red and pink yarn. If you want to fit more shades of yarn on one heart, just make the hearts a little bigger and do fewer rounds with each color.

As an alternative to a garland, you can also use the little yarn hearts to embellish Valentine cards. Or you could glue them onto a cardboard circle to make a Valentine heart wreath.
