How to Clean With Vinegar
If you’re looking for a non-toxic, fairly inexpensive household cleaner, learning how to clean vinegar is a great place to start.
MATERIALS USED:
Apple cider vinegar
Since vinegar is a food product, vinegar is safe from toxic fumes, won’t hurt you if it’s absorbed through your skin, and since it can be bought in bulk, often cheaper than other household cleaners. It also won’t pollute the ground water if it’s spilled or dumped down the sink. Plus its versatility lets you use the same cleaner on multiple surfaces which saves time, money, and storage space!
The smell of vinegar can be a bit strong, so a good way to combat that is to mix it with your favorite essential oils. Lemon oil gives it a nice fresh scent, much like other store-bought household cleaners. Eucalyptus oil is strong enough to overpower even the most potent vinegar scent. It also has disinfecting properties for an extra bonus.
As with any cleaning product, be careful what you use this on, as it can damage some surfaces.
