How to Make a Quilted Pillow Part 1: Piecing the Top

Making a quilted pillow is a beautiful way to use up old material scraps.

Hand quilting makes a pillow even more beautiful, but for reasons of time, I did my quilting by machine in this tutorial. The pattern for this quilted pillow is a very traditional design and the pieces can easily be drawn by hand or you can download the free pattern pdf here.
