Isabela Dragon Age Costume Tutorial Part 3
So here’s the final part of the Isabela costume from Dragon Age tutorial. If you missed the previous installments, click here for part 1, and here for part 2.
MATERIALS USED:
A pair of black boots
2 feet of fake black leather (Available from JoAnn Fabrics)
4 buckles
Scissors
Needle and thread or sewing machine
Old buttons for necklace and earrings
Metallic gold paint
22 gauge wreath wire
Jelly cord
Clip on or hook earring findings
Black gloves
Buckles for the arm guard
This tutorial is for the boots, necklace and earrings. She also had some armor covering her elbows, but I skipped it just to simplify things.
Since thigh-high boots are a bit difficult to find in a second hand shop, I ended up just making a “leg sleeve.” It’s a cheap and easy way to elongate a regular pair of boots. The technique can also be used for other characters who might need thigh-high boots such as Mirror Universe Uhura, or Shadow Yamoto from Eternal Champions.
The secret to the gold jewelry is just some old buttons and gold paint. My grandmother gave me her stash of buttons when she moved. There were a bunch of fairly large ones in there, along with some with interesting designs. They made perfect Isabela jewelry when hit with a little gold paint. Cheap and solution.

I need a tutorial to make Philippa Eilhart costume from The Witcher videogames, can you make it? Thanks in advance! β€οΈ
I can add her to my to-do list. Is Philippa the one with the reddish tank top style dress and the blindfold? (I’ve never played, so want to make sure I’ve got the right character).
Yes, it’s her! Thank you!
Ok got on her on my list then π
