Many Hearts DIY Valentine Card

This week’s tutorial is a short little video how-to for making a many hearts DIY Valentine card. These are quick and fun to make, and are a great way to use up small scraps of pretty paper.

Many Hearts DIY Valentine Card

MATERIALS USED:
Blank card
Scraps of various decorative paper
Scissors
Red paper
Decorative scissors
Needle and thread or sewing machine

For my hearts, I used some tiny pieces of scrapbooking paper that were too small to use for much else. But you could also use scraps of wrapping paper or tissue paper.

You could even get really creative and cut your hearts out of old newspaper or magazine pictures. Gardening magazines would be a great choice as the floral images would lend themselves very well to making beautiful little hearts.

I used a sewing machine to attached my hearts to the red piece of paper. However, if you don’t have a sewing machine, you can also easily sew the hearts to the card by hand. (If you need a basic hand sewing tutorial, I do have one here).
