Market Season Beings Next Week
The 2015 summer farm market season begins next week starting with opening of the Victor Market on June 3rd. Here’s my summer market schedule for any locals who want to stop by:
JUNE 3RD – The Victor Farm Market starts
(Village Hall Parking Lot, located off East Main Street/Rte 96)
Every Wednesday, 3:00-7:00pm
June 3rd – October 28th
JUNE 6TH – Canandaigua summer farm market returns to the pavilion.
(S. Main St. in parking lot between Lafayette Ave. and Mill St. )
Every Saturday morning, 8:30am-12:30pm
June 6th – October 31
JUNE 18 Cheshire Farm Market opens
(4244 State Rt. 21 South, [Cheshire] – Canandaigua, NY 14424)
Thursdays, 2:00-6:00pm
June 18 – September 24
Flowers are usually a little sparse the first few markets, but I’ll still have a few pretty bouquets (hopefully the peonies will be blooming for the first week or two). And the number will increase soon enough. In about a month I’ll also have some of my long-lasting baby sunflowers. If you’re looking for my veggies, Cheshire is currently the market I bring those to in the summer, so look for my veggies there. Fingers crossed for a good farming year; let the flower blooming begin!
