Thor – DIY Thor Stormbreaker Axe – Cheap and Easy (cardboard)
So in this tutorial I’ll show you how to make a very cheap and easy DIY Thor Stormbreaker Axe. This is made mostly out of cardboard, so it’s perfect for any budget.
MATERIALS USED:
Stormbreaker Axe template
Scrap pieces of cardboard
Scissors or utility knife
Pencil
1 piece of cardstock
Chrome silver paint
Metallic Gunmetal Gray paint
Paint brush
A forked stick
Natural twine [like jute or bailing twine]
When I made my Stormbreaker axe, I forgot to glue-paint it, but if you give yours a coating or 2 of watered-down glue before you paint it, the silver paint will look much shinier and more realistic. The stick I used for the handle was just a stick that I picked up off the ground in the woods. It’s a bit small for the handle, but it was the only forked stick I could find. However, if you can find a thicker forked stick, the handle will look better.
