Way Big Costume from Ben 10 DIY

So in this tutorial I’ll show you how to make a Way Big costume from Ben 10. I had quite a few requests for this, because as usual, Ben 10 seems to be very popular. (Though I’ve still never seen it).

MATERIALS USED:
A bottle cap
White paper
Glue that will stick to plastic (Power-tac)
Green, black and red acrylic paint
Paint brush
Pencil
Scissors
1 foot of red fabric
Black fabric marker
Elastic strips
2 used thread spools
Pair of white boots (or just paint an old pair white)
2 sheets of craft foam (you can also use cardboard instead)
Hot glue gun
Metallic silver paint (Silver Anniversary)

I’m sure parts of this Way Big costume will be incorrect. I’m still just working off of Googled images, having never seen the Ben 10 cartoon. Also some of this had to be altered in order to make it fit a real person. (Those legs are not exactly real human proportions…). But I hope you enjoy this tutorial anyway. And hopefully it’ll give you a basic idea that you can perfect upon for your own Way Big costume.

I used craft foam for most of my Way Big costume, because it’s flexible. But you can also use regular cardboard the same way if you prefer. Also I used a fabric marker to draw on the check lines, but you can just use a regular permanent marker if you’d rather. The costume is not washable anyway, due to the plastic part glued onto the chest.
