If you’re looking for some $0 Christmas decor ideas, here are a few you can put together using things that you probably already have lying around the around the house.

$0 Christmas Decor Ideas

MATERIALS USED:

Scene jars:
Glass spaghetti or Mason jars
Quilt batting (or flour or sugar)
Little Christmas odds and ends (this is a great way to use up broken pieces from other decor)
Festive ribbon

Rustic packages:
Boxes
Packing paper (the stuff that comes in mail order packages is perfect)
Bailing twine, raffia, yarn, or ribbon
Greenery bits and berries (mine were rose hips)
Tape (optional, as you can just secure the paper to the packages with string)
Scissors
Thread

Christmas Truck:
Old toy truck
Red paint (if the truck isn’t already red)
Paint brush
Various greens
Scissors
Festive ribbon

These decorations are a cute way to upcycle items you’d normally throw away, or upcycle some items you already have (like broken pieces from other Christmas decorations, or old packing paper). Since you’re reusing and recycling everything for the decor ideas, you end up with $0 Christmas decor that’s eco-friendly and free!
