How to Macrame A Belt

In this tutorial I’ll show you how to macrame a belt out of some jute twine or your favorite colored cording.

How to Macrame A Belt

MATERIALS USED:
Jute String (or colorful cording if you prefer)
Scissors
Mandala beads (Optional)
Needle and thread

Macrame is a bit time-consuming, but the end result is well-worth it. The intricate knots make beautiful patterns on whatever you use them for. I suggested settling in with a good movie while you’re knot-tying so it doesn’t get so monotonous.

Once your belt is fully knotted, you can also add embellishments. I dressed mine up with some colorful mandala beads that were sent to me by BeeBeeCraft to try. They provide a nice splash of color against the neutral background of the jute.
