DIY Steampunk Lamp

In this tutorial I’ll show you how to make DIY steampunk lamp.

DIY Steampunk Lamp

MATERIALS USED:
Metallic copper paint
Copper chain
Glue that will bond metal (Power-tac)
Gears
Steampunk embellishment (I used an owl)
2 keys
Keyhole
Lampshade (or a retro filament bulb would look cool too)

This lamp was part of a steampunk decor collaboration with Nerdy Creations. She did a clock, and I did a lamp. They’re a great way to add a little steampunk flavor to your home (or flying ship πŸ˜‰ ).

I put a shade on my DIY steampunk lamp, because I had one available. However, as an alternative, this would look really cool with a retro filament bulb and no shade. The shadeless, retro bulb would lend an extra air of steampunk flair to the lamp. No additional gears required!
