DIY Fairy House Lamp / Mushroom Nature Lamp

With a little fabric paint and some items gathered in nature, you can make a cute fairy house lamp fit for any little sprites who might wander by.

DIY Fairy House Lamp / Mushroom Nature Lamp

MATERIALS USED:
Lamp Base:
2nd hand lamp
Fairy door
Large pieces of bark
Glue that sticks to metal (Power-tac)
Moss, leaves, or other natural embellishments

Lamp shade:
Shade
Large nametags or duct tape
Scissors
Masking tape
Red fabric paint

The best place to find bark is to look at the base of large trees after a windstorm. Or locate a standing tree that’s dead. Just don’t take bark off a living tree or you’ll leave it susceptible to pests.

For the fairy door itself, you can either use a pre-made door, or you can make your own (check out my fairy door tutorial here) if you want to go that route)
