Wonder Woman Costume Part 4 – How to Make a Wonder Woman Cape

Here’s a tutorial for a Wonder Woman cape, to add a final touch to any wonder woman costume.

How to Make a Wonder Woman Cape

MATERIALS NEEDED:
Blue crushed velvet (I used 3 yards, but you may need more if you’re taller)
1 yd. faux fur
1 hook and loop closure
Scissors
Sewing machine / needle and thread
Hot glue gun (optional – you can always sew the under side if you prefer instead).

Like the rest of my Wonder Woman costume, this one is based mostly on the version worn by Rileah Vanderbilt in the short Wonder Woman film by Rainfall Films. I’m fairly short height wise, so the width of the material was more than long enough to make a cloak for me, but it you’re on the taller side, you might have to sew two pieces together to get one long/wide enough to cut into the half circle.
