How Make a Leeloo Dallas Costume

MATERIALS USED:
Multi pass and suspenders template (can be downloaded free from my patterns vault here)
Cardstock
Paper
Cardboard
Necklace chain
Glue
White shirt
Scissors
Sewing pins
Needle and thread or sewing machine
Stretchy gold fabric
Stretchy black fabric
Peel and stick fabric fuse tape
A pair of leggings that fit you to measure
Orange fabric
Orange wig
Boots
Jagua for tattoo (optional)

The Leeloo Dallas costume is fairly inexpensive to put together since there’s not many pieces to it. Leeloo’s suspenders were a kind of plastic type material, but I made mine out of some orange felt because I had it leftover from the Luke Skywalker flight suit. The boots are the same ones I use for Doctor Strange and originally came from a second hand shop. The white shirt I also picked up for a couple bucks in a second hand shop. The stretchy gold fabric for the pants came from JoAnn Fabrics.

I made a free template for the multi pass and the suspenders back that you can download if you don’t want to try them freehand. For the tattoo, I used a fruit paste called jagua. It’s like henna, only darker, so it looks like a real tattoo.
