How To Make A Baby Groot Incense Burner
In this tutorial I’ll show you how to make a Baby Groot incense burner, because who doesn’t want to burn incense in a Baby Groot burner! Am I right?
MATERIALS USED:
Brown air-dry clay
Toothpick
2 animal eyes
Strong glue that will bond clay (I used Power-tac)
Black Metallic paint
Hauser Light Green paint
Duraclear Gloss Varnish
Paintbrush
I had a request from a follower asking me to do a tutorial for how to make a Baby Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy, so I thought it’d be cute if I made something practical out of him as long as I was making him. So the Baby Groot incense burner was born.
This incense burner is made almost entirely out of clay, so there’s nothing too fancy you need to do to bring him to life. The little dish below Baby Groot’s feet serves a double purpose. It helps him stand upright, and it catches the incense ashes that fall off the stick.
When you’re gluing the different pieces of the incense burner together, be sure you don’t use hot glue, because it doesn’t bond very well to clay. (You don’t want Groot’s head falling off in the middle of your meditation session).
I hope you enjoy this little how to make a Baby Groot incense burner tutorial. Leave me a comment below and let me know what scent of incense you plan to burn in yours. Personally, my favorite is Nirvana from Wild Berry Incense. And if you want to get really crazy, you can burn Nirvana, while listening to Nirvana music, while meditating to try and achieve Nirvana (Sorry, couldn’t resist π )

Hi Amber, “Wow I’m really amazed at the little figure you made.” I’m not very good at clay sculpting. But you made this look to professional looking. You really out did yourself this time. “Kool”
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it. π He actually goes together pretty easily, since the “messier” the rope-like pieces are, the more realistically tree-like he looks.
