Hawkgirl Helmet – How to Make a Hawkgirl Helmet
Had a request for a Hawkgirl helmet tutorial. The whole Hawkgirl helmet is made up of just craft foam and glue, so it’s very inexpensive to make and fairly simple in its construction.
So this Hawkgirl helmet did not turn out as well as I wanted. It ended up looking more like Wolverine (comic version) by the time I was done, than Hawkgirl, but hopefully it’ll be a starting point for you guys to improve upon. If you leave off the 2 center stripes that I put on the top of the Hawkgirl helmet, it might help to decrease the Wolverine look and make it a bit more Hawkgirl-ish. You can either draw the pieces freehand onto the foam, or I do have a template for the Hawkgirl helmet pieces I used here.
