Inquisitor Lightsaber DIY

A little cardboard and a lot of cutting can get you a cheap and easy Inquisitor Lightsaber hilt.

Inquisitor Lightsaber DIY

MATERIALS USED:
Inquisitor Lightsaber Template: (available free in my patterns vault)
2 cardboard tubes, one bigger than the other
Glue that will bond metal (Power-tac)
Scraps of 2mm craft foam
Silver adhesive foil
Black Metallic paint
White school glue
Paint brush
Utility knife
Scissors
Black permanent marker

The Inquisitor lightsabers are one of my favorite lightsaber designs. They are super cool (and maybe slightly Xena-esque πŸ˜‰).

I have a free template, listed above, that you can use to cut the circles for the hilt. Or if you’d rather try it without the template, try tracing multiple sizes of plates.

I’ve seen several different versions of this particular lightsaber, but this was the one I liked the best. The black provided a nice contrast to the silver and gives a nice representation of the dark side of the force.
