Jedi Holocron How To – Cheap and Easy

Jedi Holocron How To - Cheap and Easy

This week’s tutorial is a Jedi Holocron how to. This can easily be assembled from an old plastic container, some craft foam, and gold paint.

MATERIALS USED:
Jedi Holocron Template (available free in my patterns vault)
Clear plastic container (I used an old cake container)
Scissors
Awl
8 eyelets
8 paper fasteners
Hammer or eyelet pliers
Tape (I used gold adhesive foil)
2mm craft foam
Metallic gold paint
Paint brush
Multi surface glue
Utility knife
Battery powered blue light

The fun part about this Jedi Holocron how to is that I’ll show you a technique to make it movable. With the magic of paper fasteners, you’ll actually be able to twist the corners of this holocron to “unlock” it for the knowledge within.

You can just use regular tape to join the triangle pieces together, but I used gold adhesive foil on my holocron. I figured that way if any of the tape showed, it would still be gold. But as long as you fully cover your tape, you can use any type.

If you want the sith holocron to accompany it, you can check out my tutorial for that here.

I hope you enjoy this Jedi holocron how to. May the force be with you!
