Klingon Head Ridges DIY (Extreme Budget Edition)
If you’ve got tinfoil and a little paint, then you probably already everything needed to create some homemade Klingon head ridges.
MATERIALS USED:
Tinfoil
Paint in your skin tone
Paint brush
Spirit gum or other prosthetics adhesive
Glue that will bond metal (Power-tac)
Fake fur
I had originally planned to make my head ridges out of something like clay or latex, but with everything closed down due to coronavirus, I decided to just turn to the kitchen instead. And the answer lay in tinfoil!
So this is an “extreme budget” edition of homemade Klingon head ridges. They don’t look as good as something like latex. But on the bright side, they’re easy and very inexpensive.
My homemade Klingon head ridges are a bit light to match my skin tone, but I didn’t have the right color paint on hand. So once I can get paint again, I’ll be fixing these so they match my forehead a little better.
