Wolverine Part 2 – DIY Wolverine Costume Tutorial

So here’s part 2 of the DIY Wolverine costume tutorial, the xmen uniform.

DIY Wolverine Costume Tutorial Xmen Part 2

MATERIALS USED:
Fake leather jacket (from 2nd hand shop)
Fake leather pants (from 2nd hand shop)
Yellow Puffy Paint
Cardboard
Scissors
Utility knife
Metallic silver paint
Gold Metallic paint
Paint brush
Hot glue gun

This Wolverine costume is based on the uniform from X2, which is a bit different from the first X-men movie. (If you missed the first part a couple weeks ago, the claws tutorial, check that out here). This uniform is pretty easy to make actually, as I took a bit of artist liberty to simplify it.

I broke the Wolverine costume suit into two parts, instead of one solid piece. It makes it easier to wear, and it’s also easier to find a cheap fake leather jacket and fake leather pants in a Salvation Army than it would be to find a one-piece suit.

Also the Wolverine costume in the movie had darker black strips around the yellow lines. I just did the puffy paint to save time, but if you want the extra black lines, you could add them with a little bit of black pleather before puffy painting.
