Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Disk DIY (cardboard)
In this tutorial I’ll show you how to make a Yu-gi-oh duel disk out of cardboard.
MATERIALS USED:
Duel Disk template (available free in my patterns vault)
Scissors
Cardboard in multiple thicknesses
Hot glue gun
Pencil
2 eyelets and eyelet tools
Hammer
2 Paper fasteners
Paint brush
Silver, blue, yellow, red, purple, black paint
4 thumbtacks
Elastic
I don’t really know much about Yu-gi-oh, other than the fact that it involves cards. So I made this Yu-gi-oh duel disk just by looking at pictures. As such, there may be mistakes in the construction that you’ll have to alter for a corrected version.
Looking at the pictures, I could tell the arms move, so they do on this disk as well. But I wasn’t able to tell if the disk does anything else. As such, only the arms are interactable part on this.

I would also like to have the patterns for your yugioh dueldisc, my son is really interested in making one! Yours seems the best video I’ve found on the internet! Thanks!
Would like to get a copy or pdf of the yugioh duel disk template to make one out of cardboard with my sons.
Hi Mark, check your email, should be a message in there. If you don’t see it, check the spam box as it might go in there. Hope you have fun making it π
