Ahsoka Tano Lightsabers How To DIY Cheap and Easy (Star Wars Rebels, The Mandalorian)
This week I’ll show you how to make the Ahsoka Tano lightsabers from Star Wars Rebels.
MATERIALS USED:
Lightsaber templates (available free in my patterns vault)
Cardboard
Pencil
Scissors
Utility knife
Hot glue gun
Cardstock
Scrap paper
School glue
Paint brush
Chrome silver paint
Black paint
Bronze paint
2 round beads or balls
Scraps of 2 or 3mm craft foam
Various plastic beads for the decorative accents
These are probably the easiest lightsabers I’ve made so far. They’re mostly just cardboard, which also give them ecofriendly cosplay prop points. They’re a bit more angular on the edges than the real Ahsoka Tano lightsabers, but it’s not that noticeable. And you can always add some clay around the the edges if you want to soften them.
Ahsoka has two lightsabers (because she’s a badass! π ), one standard sized, and one smaller shoto lightsaber. However, the lightsabers are almost identical to each other with a few minor differences. As such, you can streamline the process by creating both Ahsoka Tano lightsabers at the same time.
In addition to being seen in Star Wars rebels, these are also the same white lightsabers Rosario Dawson has as Ahsoka in The Mandalorian.
