Captain Marvel Helmet Tutorial – Cheap and Easy

In this tutorial I’ll show you how to make a cheap and easy Captain Marvel helmet. You can easily construct one with a little craft foam and a hot glue gun.

Cheap and Easy Captain Marvel Helmet

MATERIALS USED:
Helmet template (available for free in my patterns vault)
2 sheets of craft foam
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Piece of red ribbon for strap
Sticky-back velcro
Red paint
Blond wig hair for mohawk (optional)

Helmets are definitely my weak point when it comes to cosplay, so this isn’t the greatest helmet tutorial out there. But this is an easy and inexpensive way to create a Captain Marvel helmet. This one is based the helmet in the comics, since I couldn’t find any good shots of it in the movie trailer and haven’t had a chance to see the movie yet (but going to see it this week finally!).
