DIY Clothes – Easy Reversible Poncho

If you like to make DIY clothes, then try this easy reversible poncho.

DIY Clothes - Easy Reversible Poncho

MATERIALS USED:
2 different fabrics (2 squares of each type of fabric)
Scissors
Sewing machines or needle and thread
Sewing pins

This poncho is simple to put together with minimal sewing. As long as you choose two different fabrics, you’ll be able to make it reversible and get to ponchos for the effort of one. The fabrics I used were some large pieces leftover from older projects. They were a bit boho, so they seemed like perfect poncho material, but don’t limit yourself to just boho prints. Use whatever fabrics meet your fancy.

I chose to make this a smaller poncho, as I like to wear it around the house in the morning. Until the wood stove gets going, it can be a bit chilly, so this is nice to just throw on. However, if you want yours to be an outdoor poncho, you may want to make a it little bigger for added warmth. If so, just cut your squares larger than the 3-foot squares I used here.
