Power Rangers – DIY Saba Sword Tutorial – White Ranger

In this DIY Saba sword tutorial, I’ll show you how to make the White Ranger’s sword from Power Rangers with a little paint, some cardboard, and a dash of clay.

Power Rangers - DIY Saba Sword Tutorial - White Ranger

MATERIALS USED:
Saba sword template (available free in my patterns vault)
Cardboard
Scissors or utility knife
Hot glue gun
Tacky glue
Paint brush
Chrome silver paint
Gunmetal gray, red, black, gold, and white paint
Black marker
Gold puffy paint
White puffy paint
Gold adhesive foil
White sculpting clay
4 thumbtacks

Sculpting the tiger’s head will probably be the most difficult part of the Saba sword, and it’ll depend on your sculpting skills. Mine ended up looking more like a dog wearing a Samurai helmet than a tiger… So it may take a few tries to get it right.

My DIY Saba sword also ended up being a bit smaller than it should be. As I’ve never actually seen Power Rangers, I was basing it off of pics, and later found out it was much bigger than the first pics I was looking at. So I made sure to make the template larger, so you’ll have a proper sized Saba sword if you make it.
